Costume Designer Luca Mosca’s visually stunning style and creative depth have made him a leading talent in the world of film.  Upcoming for Mosca is the highly-anticipated action adventure, “John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum,” starring Keanu Reeves, premiering May 16th, 2019.

 

In addition to “John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum,” Mosca designed the costumes for both of the two previous installments in the film series, “John Wick” and “ John Wick: Chapter 2.”

 

With over two dozen credits as a costume designer, Mosca’s continuously mounting success in film strikes the perfect balance across a wide range of genres.  Beyond the John Wick film franchise, he also designed the costumes for “The Last Witch Hunter,” starring Vin Diesel, Michael Caine and Elijah Wood, “21,” starring Kate Bosworth, Kevin Spacey and Laurence Fishburne, “Vantage Point,” starring Dennis Quaid, Forest Whitaker and Matthew Fox, and more.

 

Following his rising acclaim as a costume designer, Mosca is quickly becoming a name to be recognized as much on screen, as it is off screen.  From his key appearance as the Italian tailor in “John Wick: Chapter 2,” to his upcoming reoccurring role in the John Wick-inspired television series, “The Continental,” Mosca’s presence on the screen is undeniable.

 

Mosca’s varied experiences before excelling in designing costumes for film have created a unique perspective that’s unrivaled by his peers.  Prior to starting his cinematic career, Mosca had a culturally rich and visually stimulating upbringing in Milan, as well as an extensive education, studying Greek, Italian, Philosophy, as well as completing a demanding medical degree in Pharmacy.  Following his formal education, Mosca forged a lucrative path for himself  as a fashion designer for Italy’s top couture production company, Zamasport, which created collections for Helmut Lang, Gucci, Romeo Gigli, Norma Kamali, Katharine Hamnett.  Through his work in design and the launching of a fashion brand, Mosca was offered the opportunity to design costumes for feature films, which opened the door to his successful career as a costume designer, as well as his flourishing evolution as an on-screen actor.
